Practical surfing tips
Continue on the subject of good and practical tips and suggestions for new surfers, in this post today I would like to give you more two ideas. They are the way you should know to stand up in your stand up paddleboards and the useful and interesting unwritten rules in surfing. Let’s find out.
The first thing I want to share in this post is about the suitable way for you to stand on your surfboards. Stand up paddleboards are not a stable ground for you to stand on and in addition to that they are used to surf in water with waves. Therefore, the conditions for keeping balance are very difficult of course. That is the reason why finding out about the ways to adjust and control your stand up paddleboard. The first important thing you should bear in mind is always to pop up you SUP boards on the ground before going to surf at the oceans. Practice stepping back and forth to a suitable position and then repeat this act up to 30 times or as many as possible. However, you should know practicing pop ups on the ground is much more easier than doing the real thing when you surf at the sea because the sea is always moving and moving non stop.
Next tip I will talk about very interesting and useful unwritten rules in surfing. In other words, these unwritten rules are in fact the experiences and practical things that surfers have passed by in order to compile them in a set of rules. The first unwritten rule is that the closer to the curl, the better you are. Therefore, it is very important for you to look everything carefully before making a jump. You should know that the ocean doesn’t belong only to you. There are so many other surfers surfing. As a result, try to avoid collide with the others when taking off paddle. There are many reported cases that many surfers have fought for a wave that sometimes can cause a lot of troubles. This especially usually happens to new surfers who are lack of experiences. They tend to surf in the way they like, to paddle all of the possible waves without paying attention to others surrounding. Therefore, new surfers should take a very caution to this point to avoid bad troubles when surfing. Furthermore, this unwritten rule is not so hard to learn and avoid, just looking around when surfing is enough.
